Face Value

About a week ago, I asked my readers about their opinions on my rock85 blog, the one you’re reading now. Consensus was that starting a second blog was a good way to go and I took your advice to heart.

So I just started a new blog on UI design and general usability called “Face Value”, which is where I’ll be posting all things I find or write on the subject of interfaces and usability. The name Face Value refers to the user interface of applications, which you might call an app’s “face”. The Value part obviously refers to the importance of said face.

The rock85 blog will keep its looser tone, while the posts that do matter won’t be overshadowed by the fun stuff. There’s not much on there just yet, but I’ll be migrating some posts tomorrow. Also, I’m planning to give my own future articles some extra flair by giving them their own page with a wholly unique design, like Dustin Curtis and Paddy Donnelly do.

So far for this news bulletin; hope to see you over at Face Value!
