Users Illusions: Steve Krug’s ‘Don’t Make Me Think’ was first published 10 years ago...
Steve Krug’s ‘Don’t Make Me Think’ was first published 10 years ago this month. Personally I would rank it as one of the most influential and inspiring books I’ve read on design and usability, second only to Zeldman’s ‘Designing with Web Standards’.
I have read comparably important design…
I’m ashamed to say I’ve never read this book, though I do recognize the impact it had on Mr. Geraghty. I’ve had such experiences with Don Norman’s “The Design of Everyday Things” and Jef Raskin’s “The Humane Interface”.
I figured Krug’s book was solely about webdesign, and I work mostly in the desktop field. Guess I was wrong and need to get me a copy damn quick.
